Thank Yous Are In Order

I want to thank the following people for making the Michiganspeed Pink's car a reality.

Joe, thank you for driving the damn wheels off that Mudstain. You kicked its ass, and we couldnt have asked for a better driver. Thank you from the bottom of my heart bro.....you were awesome.

Sean and the guys from CARS for building us a bad ass motor, and Steve from Star for the paint work and numerous other projects that were done on the car. You guys really stepped up and helped when we needed you. Thank you for that, and I hope you got your monies worth from the event. Its sponsors like you that help keep this site afloat every year, and I hope everyone remembers that.

Thanks to the members who donated, wrenched, transported, or did anything else on the car. We basically took a junkyard reject body and we turned it into a 9 second monster. Not everyone can say they have ever done this, much less with what we had to work with. Despite the fact we lost, we should all be proud of the accomplishments we made. This was something special that most of us wont experiance any time soon again. So stand up tall and dont be afraid to talk about what you did, despite the loss. Be proud of our accomplishments.

Thanks to Modular Transporation for the ride out to KC. Steve our driver was awesome, and seemed to be having the time of his life out there. It was a real help knowing that we didnt have to worry about the transport of the car.

Team Z, Coan, Nitrous Express, ET Performance, Skytek, Camaroz28.com....I know I am missing someone....thank you all. It was your trust that we could build what we said we could that got us to the race. You all helped in a big way, and despite the loss we still showed well for all of our sponsors and members.

Congrats to the Motown guys, you were a class act and you brought a damn fast car. That right there made it all worthwhile. We got to show the world that Michigan has some damn fast cars and some really classy people. We represented well for our broke ass state.

We can always play the what if game, and I am sure there are people who will blame other people for the loss. I only hope they have the balls to say it out loud. Regardless, it was a good time and a great race.

One last thing that I can think of......remember good or bad, we Never asked for a single length. Our start line never moved Had to throw that in there.

Again, awesome job from all involved, and you all deserve to be proud of what we did. I hope I am not the only one who see's that.
