What are/were your best stock times? (Hopefully some of you can remember that far back  )
My best stock time was at M7 last year, 14.23 at like 97MPH. I know my girl has more time in her though. I was running with like 3/4 tank and not launching very aggressively, so I think a change in those factors would reveal some faster 1/4 mile times.
And then if I can ever afford mods, who knows!
But still, fast enough to beat ricers! :D

13.469 @ 105.99 in July totally as it came from the factory. :)
Well my car wasn't stock when I got it, but according to the thirdgen guys from cz28.com, my car from the factory would have ran in the mid 15's. Not very impressive. No wonder everyone calls then turd gens.
When I got my car it had a 327 and my very first run (also my first run ever at the track) I ran a 15.3. Once I learned how to drive and had some good tires on it I ran a 13.98 @ 105. Still have the timslip.

uh, no..
when I gutted it and added 1.6 rollers, I went SLOWER. I did have the back seats out, and had ditched air bags and air pump, as well as muffler and cat. Forgot about that stuff. I should have known I could count on you to remember anything I might forget about my car  So I was MAYBE 150lbs lighter than stock...and on stock wheels with greasy GSC tires
Edit: oops, I better mentioned the unmodified hypertech file I got from Q's site so you don't bring that up too

14.06@100 on a 2.07 60' with a full weight car at Ubly Dragway. Then went through the Modern Musclecar fucking and only lost 1.5 seconds and gained 11 mph.

 Thats right last year best run wasnt even me in my car and it ran 13.42 at 110mph
four runs later the clutch went out could that have affected my times :hmm: I think maybe....
Since then i have switched to the mcloed system and added long tube headers, custome loudmouth exhaust :thumbu:
And ahhhh yes an eton posi with 3.73 gears.
So :hump: A, it should pull a reletively good time this year.

Dang.... Your car was faster than mine!
Guess that's part of the reason why we promised never to race each other, huh?

Well mister smarty pants. I may not know all of the mods that you've done. But I have read all of your threads telling of removing the heater, complete air conditioning system, wanting someone to fab a panel to put where you HVAC controls were, removed your exhaust, and on and on and on. Then to see you claim a 13.2 with just a CAI and gears. Give me a break :hmm:
I guess that I should just not read your posts then you can claim whatever you want to.

Wow Al...take things a little personal do you? I had no intention of misleading people. In fact if you look at my sig on camaro z28.com it even says !200lbs or so as well as the other mods I had for that time... So add it back in if it will make you feel better. 100lbs is a tenth right? So call it a 13.4 on a stock lt1 with CAI and gears :banghead:
