so whats the fastest you have been in a boat and what was it ??
for me it was 117 mph in a 136 mph boat. man thats flying on the water. and it kills your ears. 32 skater cat, twin 850 blower motors, #6 drives. that boat is a monster. 85 mph at 3200 rpm's. from 85 to 115 your pushed back in the seat. and your face is blown all over. which is a improvement for me.

45-50 in a 241 liberator with a 454 chevy in it

i know, its slow.

my uncle still owes me a ride in his jet boat, 427 chevy with a blower. he had it to 116mph (on gps) with plenty of throttle to go.

That settles it, I am trading The Rag away for another boat. I miss my Lib REALLY bad, and I dont care if the car is here or not.

I'll give 3 on 3 separate boats.

104.3 in a 26' Thorobred on the Grand River, 468 twin turbo BBC
105.4 in a 26' American Offshore cat in Lake of the Ozarks, 496 BBC
118 in an STV tunnel hull on Hardy Pond, 2.4 Merc

All awesome but almost completely different.

It was most definitely a white knuckled ride. Probably the most thrilling ride was about 80-85 in another 26' Thorobred on Lake Michigan..... in 8-10 footers. Rode shotgun with Leo "Wiseguy" Wiseman.

You got that right. What's more impressive is watching him drive a boat - just so smooth and always in control.
