View Full Version : I think I want a jet boat

I cant sell The Rag, and now after taxes and buying the van, I have no need to trade it for a DD anymore.

I enjoyed my boat more than my car, and the only reason for selling Bad Karma was the payment and the need to keep a truck to haul it. Van would not have hauled that wave smasher. But a van would more than haul a 19 foot jet boat with a blown big block. Prices seem in line with what I want out of The Rag, and I could still get my water and speed fix that way.

Wheels are turning.........

hi Q
how about a powerplay, donzi or maybe a baron lol. deep vee for a good ride. bigger cockpit then a jet. thru hull so you can make some noise. you can pull the kids on ski's or a tube. they will run 60ish with a stock 350ci 260hp. and they are a blast to bomb around in. i just love my 19' baron. just you 2 cents.

Too much boat Todd. I dont want to be saddled with having to keep something big to haul it. Jet boat makes for easy towing, and even easier working on the engine.

Dont get me wrong, I loved my Deep-V, but too much work. Small and fast is what I am thinking. Easy to tuck into a garage. And I can still pull skis or tubes.....just have to point the jet wash down  Depending on who is behind it :naughty:

powerplays are only 18'4". my baron is 19'2". 18' donzi. put a 400hp sbc. and 75 mph here we come. my buddy steve has a hot little jet with a blown bbc. runs it up at hardy. he always ask me if i want a ride. but something about putting your hand out and touching the water is not for me.lol. here is my buddy tom in his brothers powerplay thats for sale.
