ok 1 more. this boat is a 41 saber built in coopersville,mi by two friends of mine. doug and jim gealhood. and a friend of mine is lucky to own it. it was 1075 quad rotor motors, #6 drives on boxes. he calls the boat clifford the big red dog. and this dog well hunt. this is from the poker run in grand haven a few years ago. he had just pasted us when my father in law went down on the floor (he would have passed us if he don't go down). 6 - 8' waves.

that boat has ballist tanks in it. you can fill them and drain them as you go. that is y he can run big speeds in big water. in big water you run with a lot of ballist. you want the noise down as much as possible. if you don't have tanks you run lots of tab and the drives in. in that video it was just the start of the 2nd leg the waves got much bigger as the day went on. jerry knows how to run that boat, and he was running it for all it was worth. it has so cool to see all 4, 41' sabers running together that day. they schooled every buddy that day. but they are ruff water boats and it was there day.

Back when my dad was into boating and looking to upgrade from his 22' PowerQuest, we test drove a 28' Sabre w/ twin 454s. Nice boat. Not all that fast, topped out at maybe 72, but silky smooth.

sean, todd, what are the names of your boats? I'm out there a few times during the summer on a 2000 SeaRay 410 located in North Shore...Le Bateau Deux

i've seen the nordic out there before. not many around here. our cottage is near the beach. and over looks the channel/north pier and lake michigan. so if we are not in the sand or on the boat, we are on the deck watching the boats and pouring them down.

hi mike

how are things over on murray?
we call ours suckthis! but sheri won't let me put it on the boat. my girls are 13. not a good name for them to be telling there friends. the name on mine starts on the deck and goes down the side. its called ero racing cigarette. it is a one off boat that cigarette and phil lipship built. after cigarette won a championship in europe.

I'll keep an eye out for the boats, I hope to be out there quite a bit this summer.

Things on Murray are good, boats only need minor TLC for the upcoming season. The poontoon boat :giggity: needs the tach issue straightened out, some new speakers, and some vents/cupholders installed. The Sport Nautique has a new head unit, subwoofer, amp, and fuel sending unit ready to be put in.
