well my wife and I decided to jump on the wagon and start working out again. We were both heavily into sport in highschool and i worked out through college but after that we both started to slack. I wrestled at 112 lbs all the way through high school having to cut very little weight 12 years out of school i am at 180lbs. I would atleast like to cut to 160-165 basically just losing my beer gut and toning up some. My wife is 5' and a mere 112-116 doesnt really need to lose anything at all but just wants to start eating healthier and tone up a bit. Last week we started eating healthier and this week we started working out at the local gym.. I have to say I am out of shape! I remember being able to run and run forever now im lucky to run a mile without damn near coughing up a lung. I did quit smoking about 6 months ago though so I am sure that will help some.. I will keep everyone posted on our progress I hope to see some gains soon!! hopefully the soreness goes away quickly

It really helps to have the household committed to making the change. I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near as far if Mark hadn't been wanting to eat better and exercise too. It definitely gets easier as you go along. I started walking on the treadmill and now I jog. This past week I even started running, but only for short amounts of time. You'll get there and so will she.

Jamie, how tall are you? I'm 5'7 and wrestled your weight class way back in 8th grade... I was kind of a stick figure back then...

i was about 5'9 in school im just a hair over 5'10 now. I was a heavy 112. I actually cut from 125 to 112. I then tried to cut my sophmore year to 103 and couldnt get down there i got as far as 105 or so and just had nothing else to lose. Once i got the weight cut down it was easy to maintain just eating noodles and salad all season and a few slices of pizza on the weekend. Now that im older i think its gonna be alot hard to cut the weight like i used to but i have a goal by late march to early april to be at my 160ish mark.. I hope i can hit it.
