Today:
Woke up and did my 20 minute work out tape.
Wrote down all my calories - 1,300 for today.
Came home, and turned on the Wii Fit.
The Wii Fit said I had lost .4 pounds in 3 days. Eh, that sucks. But, I play on it for 40 minutes (which flew by). I get off of it, and take the kids to the pool.
For fun, I get back on, and it say I lost 1.6 pounds from my last weigh in (not counting the .4). So, I lost 1.2 pounds since my last weigh in 3 days ago.
I lost more weight sitting and reading then I did exercising! :omglol:
The Wii said I started out at 232 (I believe).
I am now currently 225.
I can't wait to be under 200 - but I'm taking baby steps.

I dont couldnt it till its been gone for awhile. To be honest if you work out then take a shyt you can loose more but the next day you might be back at the same weight again. Ive took a dump and then went for a 3 mile run on a hot day weighed 4-5 lbs less afterwards.

How about your water intake? There are so many other things that go into weight loss other than limiting calories and increasing exercise; at least that's what I'm finding. I don't have the right formula yet but I am working on it :). Sounds like you are keeping track of everything well. Keep it up!

Be careful using the WII as your progress meter. I've found it to be pretty unreliable for weight. It's showed the kids losing over a pound with about 10 minutes of it's workouts.

Some things to consider are carbs and sugar. Read up on the Atkins diet.. i went from 315 (ouch) down to 250 5 years ago and haven't really gained much back. Give it a try, with the exercise the pounds will drop real quick. I am doing it again to lose 20 lbs. in 6 weeks and keep it off!

I dont even worry about my fat intake. I watch carbs and keep the sugar intake way down. Keep serious focus on your carbs. You dont want to eliminate them but this world of food is overload with carbs.
The old vegatables, plain yogurt and chicken breast or steak with various fruits always works best in my opinion. With a day to eat what ever you want. This always seems to be what weight lifters eat and it works even if you not try to beef up just trim down.
Cardio, cardio. If you've been walking for awhile now start throwing in some slow running for 20 sec. every 2-3 min. Then slowly step it up. No pain no gain. If your knees hurt and the doc say you have no medical problem with them then you need to work through it and your joints will get used to it over time.

I've done the Atkins before, and I really liked it. Being diabetic, it was great to keep my sugars low (no carbs, no sugar).
HOWEVER, about 6 months ago, I found out that I only have one kidney, which isn't that great for the Atkins diet, it will make it work too hard. So, I have to pass on that for now.
Right, it's all about control and getting in the pattern of my new life. I've gone for too long eating what I want (eating for taste) and eating until I stuff myself.
I am trying to change that pattern, along with working out. Once I do that, then I will start getting more detailed "plan".
