I hate this, in a good way. I'm getting married April 4th (404 - Single Not Found - geek humor), and we need to look good for our pictures.

No beer. :tears:
No "bad" food (fresh is best)
Counting calories.
Working out before work, and after work.

I am so f'n sore, as this is day 2.

I am on a shit load of pills due because of my health. I'd love to be off them - my co-pays are over $120 a month. It's crazy.

I have about 40 lbs I'd like to lose in 4 months. To some, it may not seem like a lot, but it's a battle I feel like I'm always losing. I always seem to hover around 230-240. I'd like to be under 200 for the wedding...

I'll try and post updates. I don't have a current/starting weight. We tossed out our scale because it was so far off, it was useless. I'll be getting a new one soon. However, I'm going with 236, as that was my last doctor weigh in less then a month a go.

I did get a WiiFit, and that will weigh me as well. Plus we both took "before" pictures.

Anyways... this is my "Fitness and Health" post. :)

On a side note, I will miss drinking beer - but I know that is what is keeping me from losing any weight and getting healthy. We would go through 2 cases of beer on the weekends. Those empty calories is what was killing me. They don't call it a beer gut for nothing... 100 calories a beer adds up quickly.

If you went from nothing to working out before and after I bet you are sore! Congratulations on your choice to change. It's amazing how many calories are out there. I think just paying attention to the in/out of calories has helped me tremendously. Good luck!

I am amazingly sore, it's actually quite sad. It just shows how out of shape I am. I am working on it though. I don't think I'll ever be a skinny guy, but I also don't want to be a fat ass either.

Today was the first day that I could work out. I am in too much pain (lower back and legs). I'm talking today off, and will start back up tomorrow.

I feel bad that can't keep at it, but I know when your body says to stop, you need to listen.
