Not that burning feeling you get in your muscles or the cramp that might sneak up on you, but a pain that stays with you throughout the day or even week?
Three weeks ago I shoveled the driveway and it sent my lower back into small spasms. I was really worried that it would end, or at least halt, my workout progress. Even though I couldn't stand up straight I forced myself to at least try the treadmill. To my surprise the pain actually went away while I walking and would stay away for about an hour afterward. Then I would start hobbling around again. Lol. Since it didn't make it worse (and actually made it better for a bit) I figured I did the right thing. But, would it have healed faster if I'd let it rest?
What do you do when it hurts?
