If you've gone this route, what products and procedures did you use?

I did most of my SeaDoo HX (couldn't get the left hull when it was on the trailer) by wetsanding with 1200 grit and using a 3M rubbing compound/wax with the buffer. I then applied a layer of Gelgloss, let it dry, and used the buffer to take it off. Pretty pleased with the results but I'm always open to trying new products if it will make things easier.

Still have the XP to go, but it is in need of much more help. I may end up changing colors around on both of them, not a huge fan of purple.

I know most people sand them, but I have seen a few products on the market to bring it back to life.

I painted, sorry :(

pretty much everytime i detail boats i'll use a super duty compound with the wool pad and the if needed a finer compound and the wax. these have been boats that were in need of it but not to the point where it was questionable whether it would come back or not. I still need to do some more homework on the gell coat and certain thresholds of certain products though. I have, just this year bought some acid wash through the rep. at our shop and it was one of the best purchases i've made in a long time. I did the acid wash to the hull of our boat this year and it looks and feels like new in a very timely mannor

I did a small test spot today wit just the oxidizer remover and it did a damn good job. Tomorrow I'm going to do more work to it and hopefully get a coat or 2 of the polish on it.
