Finally got a new boat muffler!

Searched the net high and low for this stupid Invertaflo muffler so I could get our boat back in the water. I had to get ahold of the "Designs & Technical Services" manager of Centek Industries (the company who built the Invertaflo) and was told they stopped making them in 1996. The same day I got word back that they actually still had the molds for the exact model number I needed :woot: 2 weeks build time and $439.01 later I have a huge hunk of fiberglass ready to go in :)

Oil & filter change, new plugs, and a severe cleaning will make it ready.

Severe cleaning because a cat gave birth to 6 kittens in the boat early this spring. Anyone want a kitty? All grey.

Muffler because I run on an inland lake, neighbors get pissed...well the elderly anyway. I could have run a different setup for $350 but I would have spent a couple weeks trying to shoehorn it in.

As for the kittens, I'll try and get a picture of them. They like to play around in the hull, we grabbed two while they were roaming around on deck. The two are up in Traverse City getting cared for. They are trying to root for a nipple on my sisters male Australian Sheppard while he is sleeping, really pissing him off :lol:
