I went to a place off of 15 or 16 mile near van dyke. IIRC.

they do the test on a moped fitted with a rear brake like on a motorcycle. Super easy.

I cant for the life of me remember the name.

Have Rick Leblanc see if he knows. OR have him call nick jennings. we went at the same time, so he would probably remember.

also, I dont believe you have to take a written test there as long as you have a current temp permit. and it was 50 bucks.

as for oil, I use yamalube, and have used mobile 1 redcap stuff. (not yamaha weight specific tho). next time I might switch to something else.

what does kawasaki recommend? I know motul and repsol make good stuff, but it can be hard to find.
