View Full Version : no more bike for me

got in an accident tonite in downtown gr. at oakes and commerce at about 4:45 the guy was on commerce and pulled out in front of me and couldnt; stop in time. i hit him and went flying over him....bike is totalled and there is no way im getting another, i have broken knee caps and a sprained ankle and wrist

but im home now and thanks god every second im still alive

Dang man, sorry to hear about that. Hope ya have a speedy recovery and glad to hear that your okay too.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about that. I quit riding street bikes a few years ago for that very reason. People are in too much of a hurry these days, and they just don't look for or care about bikes.

I had a bike for one summer and decided it was best to get rid of it..too many close calls.

Sorry to see that Sean, that's why I told you friday I can't get one.....I don't trust myself let alone other people! Glad you're going to be ok. Careful what you post on here about the legal stuff, they will find it and print it out if they are really doing thier homework.

Wow that sucks big time man :( Sorry about the broken bones, coulda been alot worse though. Fix the bike or make a go-kart!

bikes too trashed to fix i'd cost me almost as much as i bought the bike for to fix it. ill prolly part it out tho and maybe build a go cart

I found a frame for 525 plus shipping...but that is probably 1/6th of what you paid. Factor in new plastic and all, probably not worth it :(

yeah it won;t be worth it for me to fx this thing. plus i would just feel much less comfortable with it being in a wreck before. i;d rather just part this one out or sell it and buy a different one

the guy in the car ??? he just asked if i was ok and i said does it looks like im ok to you!!!!!!!

now he won;t even return phone calls or the letter my lawyer wrote him too soooo it should be a fun winter
