A friend of mine just bought an '03 919 and he was thinking about getting a set of pipes for it, so I was wondering what kind of performance gains would he see?? The stock setup looks like it preforms pretty well and an aftermarket set of pipes isn't cheap!!! So I guess I was wondering if it's worth it?? Also are there any other fairly easy bolt-on's he can do to gain some performance??
How well do you think that bike would hold up against any of the 600's on the market?? I'm shure it probably weigh's more but it's got 300 more cc's but i'm not shure if it's the same 900 they put in the crotch rockets. Can anyone shed some light on this??? Thanks!!
