There's a nice looking 1978 CB750F with bags and such for $1k and a 1979 CX500 for $1200 here in BC. Both look in good rideable condition.

Also in the same yard was a pair CBR954RR's if someone is interested. The 2002 had 3800 miles and said $7k, the other didn't have a price, both had frame sliders, pipes, etc

7K for a 954 is high. I'd say its worth more like 5500, my buddy just sold his that had lowsided in a slow speed turn, at 5<mph due to gravel. was fixed except the fairings that only had scratches and he took 5000 for his IIRC.
