So how many motorcycle owners are now frequenting the site? Maybe it's time we get together for a ride of the Michigan Speed Motorcycle Contingent!!

I wish I had one, but I need a cycle endorsement so I can buy one so I can use it to get a cycle endorsement. :run:

Anybody got a POS loaner?

Pick up that Nitehawk I linked Pete. it's already in kzoo, and you could probably make a little better deal then the grand the guy is asking. Looks like a nice bike and would be a good starter for just about anyone.

Don't have to have an endorsement to buy one and getting a permit is real easy. Only problem with the permit is having to ride with someone who is already licensed. If you don't have that option then take a saftey course. You use their bikes and at the end of the course (usually only a day) you receive your endorsement.

some ins. agents will only insure the bike if you have an endorsement

Progressive insured me for 18 bucks a month, and I don't even have a permit yet.

Pete: Either get yourself an endorsement and a bike, or stop writing on the roll call! ;)

Mike: I'm present and accounted for. I'm also free from the 26th through the 30th of June. NFME at Indy got cancelled. I'm going on a road trip to who-knows-where on either the bike or in the Trans Am. I wanna race something, somewhere.

It takes a lot of crashing to get really good at a wheelie.
